Newlyweds Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding have shared more behind-the-scenes glimpses of their New York City wedding, an event that spanned three days and included many sentimental homages to the couple’s story.
In a video created by Sommar Films, the couple can be seen sharing their vows, partying with friends and sharing emotional moments with loved ones.
The couple shared the video in a collaborative post on Instagram, captioning it: “We made some promises in NYC.”
In a voice-over paired with the stunning footage, Harding can be heard recalling the first time her and Lee met in a café where she worked.
Lee passed the model a note with his email address and humbly wrote, “but if you have a boyfriend, just tell him I was using you to get to him. I bet he is handsome”.
In Lee’s vows, he can be heard saying, “it is compulsory to grow old, but optional to grow up. I look forward to never growing up with you”.
Harding responds to this statement in her speech, telling her radio host partner she looks forward to “one day sitting back when you’re 100 years old, and I’m still 36, which is so weird”.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the MC can be heard introducing the newlyweds as “Mr and Mrs Lee”.
The stunning New York wedding was designed by the couple to show their guests the best parts of their favourite city.
“We love New York and have so many happy memories here, so it felt right to really lean into it,” Harding told Vogue Australia.
“We wanted to take our guests to a few of our favourite spots around the city.”
It was not missed by the couple how far many of their guests had travelled to be part of their special day, so custom-made gifts were essential to show their appreciation.

Each guest was welcomed to the big apple with a custom New York Yankees cap embroidered with the couple’s wedding date, a personalised key ring from The Bowery Hotel, playing cards featuring artwork inspired by the mural at Bemelmans Bar and custom matchboxes.
Harding stunned on her special day in a gown by Steven Khalil, before changing to a second custom reception dress later in the night by the same designer.
Lee paid homage to his best mate and long-time radio co-host Hamish Blake by wearing Andy by Hamish on the big day, a fragrance that Blake designed in his honour in 2017.
The couple then hosted a morning-after breakfast at Lee and Blake’s own Old Mates, an Australian themed pub in Downtown Manhattan.
It was a decidedly Australian affair as pub grub was the guest preference.
“The head chef at Old Mates, Simon Drolz-Cox, said they’d never had so many chicken schnitzels ordered,” Rebecca said.
The couple say their favourite part of the wedding celebrations was their reception entrance, a moment they will remember forever.
“Walking into the dining room to Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York as a married couple and seeing all of our favourite people in one room.”
