Liam Hemsworth engaged to model Gabriella Brooks, with couple making announcement on Instagram

Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth is engaged to his long-term girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.

The Sydney model, 29, made the announcement on Instagram, posing alongside her 35-year-old fiance while showing off a sparkling diamond ring.

Brooks also gave fans a glimpse of her engagement ring, which appears to be a large, square cushion-cut diamond on a dainty yellow gold band.

Indicating it may have been a beach proposal, Brooks shared a picture of the ocean as part of the announcement.

Hemsworth and Brooks were first pictured together in 2019, just months after his high-profile split from singer Miley Cyrus.

The couple have since made several public appearances at red carpet events and even holidayed in Western Australia during the early months of their romance.

The couple celebrated Brooks’ 25th birthday in 2021 with a getaway at Horizontal Falls in the Kimberley while the pair recently triggered engagement rumours after she was snapped wearing her new ring in Ibiza.

The couple appear to have plans to settle on Australia’s east coast.

Last year, Hunger Games star Hemsworth submitted plans to build a $14.6 million mega-mansion in Newrybar, near Byron Bay — close to his brother Chris and his family.

Perth model Jessica Gomes was among the first to congratulate the happy couple on Instagram while actor Lukas Gage were also among those to offer their well-wishes.
