Tammy Hembrow confirms dating Geelong AFL player Bailey Smith, asked if she will attend Brownlow Medal night

Gold Coast-based fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow has confirmed her new relationship with Geelong AFL star Bailey Smith.
Hembrow was among the guests at the Sasha Therese fashion event at Maison Batard in Melbourne on Wednesday night, where she shared some brief comments with the Herald Sun about her visit:
“I’m here for a few things. A little work, a little play, a little bit of both,” Ms Hembrow said.
A note for any non AFL supporters if this isn’t obvious: Smith lives near Melbourne as he plays for Geelong.
Asked about the supposed romance with Smith, Hembrow replied, “I’m not going to say anything about Bailey except he’s a sweetie, he’s a good guy.”
When questioned about the possibility of attending the upcoming Brownlow Medal with the Geelong midfielder, Hembrow responded shyly said she wouldn’t comment further.
She made the trip to Melbourne for the Sasha Therese occasionwear label event, a brand launched in November 2023 by James Hachem, Emmanuel Barbas, and influencer Sasha Morpeth.
The fashion event also drew other notable Melbourne personalities, including Tayla Broad, Lexi Mary, Maria Thattil, and Riley Armitage, the sister of Smith’s former partner Izzy Armitage.
Smith is also an influencer and has partnerships with Cotton On and Tinder.
It comes as Hembrow and Smith made headlines earlier in August, then Hembrow ignited romance rumours after posting on TikTok for the first time since being spotted getting close to Smith.
Hembrow was seen with the Geelong midfielder on the Gold Coast, just weeks after announcing her divorce from former reality star and podcaster Matt Zukowski.
Photos published by The Daily Mail show Hembrow and Smith appearing to realise their relationship was no longer under wraps after spotting cameras stationed outside the venue.
The pair had dined at the upscale restaurant Rick Shores, located inside the Pavilion.
In a TikTok shared, Hembrow mouthed the popular audio: “Don’t be f…ing boring. This whole town is so f…ing boring. I don’t care.”
She was wearing Smith’s jacket. The one he was holding in the paparazzi photos when they were captured leaving Burleigh Pavilion together.
Some onlookers noticed the coincidence.
“Nice jacket haha,” one wrote.
“Cute jacket!” another said.
A reporter from the Daily Mail also questioned Smith about the dating rumours upon his return to Melbourne on Sunday.
In a video shared online, Smith is seen responding to a photographer who mispronounced Hembrow’s surname. “F***in’ hell, do your research,” he told the photographer.
When asked directly if he and Hembrow are together, Smith replied: “What do you want me to say?,” before cursing at the reporter.
Hembrow, 31, and Zukowski, 30, announced their separation in June, only seven months after tying the knot.
The couple had faced months of speculation about their relationship status, and Hembrow eventually confirmed the breakup in a seven-minute-long emotional video.
“I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am getting a divorce,” Hembrow said.
“Did I think this was going to happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever.”
Zukowski, who rose to fame on Love Island, has now broken his silence on the recent developments, admitting that he feels blindsided by the news.
“We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don’t understand how someone can move on so quickly. It’s been 48 days and I’m still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage to someone. I’m trying to focus on myself and heal,” he told the Herald Sun.
Hembrow and Zukowski tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in Byron Bay in November 2024.
The Gold Coast influencer shares three children with two previous partners, her ex-fiancés Reece Hawkins and Matt Poole.
