Poppy Lissiman Freo Flagship
We wouldn’t put it past Poppy Lissiman to bring to life the most stylish store in Perth — and that’s exactly what she’s recently opened. The Fremantle flagship is set within a 1930 heritage former bank building, stocking the brand’s plethora of eclectic accessories and beautifully decorated with the edgy design flare Poppy and her namesake brand is known for. “If we were going to return to retail, it had to feel deeply connected to my aesthetic and the brand’s roots,” says Lissiman. “This building has been our creative home for years, but Fremantle itself has always been our true foundation. It’s special to finally share it with the local community and travellers alike.” The shop is located at 86 High Street, Fremantle and open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
Fleck Journals
When Perth writer Anna Franklyn sought to quieten her whirring thoughts and ever-growing to-do list in the midst of work and looking after a toddler, she turned to journalling. Franklyn found the ritual of self-reflection so powerful it led her to launch Fleck. Products include the Fleck Journal notebook and Fleck Deck: 50 journal prompts to encourage people to take a slow moment to themselves. The Fleck Set — featuring prompts to encourage curiosity, clarity, creation, celebration and comfort — is $49, which includes the deck and journal. For more details, see fleckjournals.com.

There will also be a wrapping station, with limited edition Anya Brock paper or gift bags available from $5.
Honey For Life
Things just got a whole lot sweeter for this WA honey producer, which has welcomed husband-and-wife Lance and Jesinta Franklin as new co-owners. The model and former AFL great — Lance was born and raised on Noongar Whadjuk country — say that after years of working with some of the world’s most respected brands, it feels particularly special to join a company so closely aligned with their values. For Lance, the connection is personal as he began using Jarrah and Manuka honey over gels while training for a marathon, finding the slow, sustained energy a better fit for his body. Honey For Life craft potent, medicinal honey rich in enzymes and compounds that make it bioactive, antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal. More information at honeyforlife.com.au.
