Under Waters

As part of Perth Festival, Wiradjuri and Scottish artist April Phillips is bringing to life an immersive exhibition that reimagines what the Earth looked like three billion years ago inside the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. Created by Phillips, with artistic collaborators Pat Younis and Jordan East, the sensory experience invites visitors to enter a dark room that feels like an underwater oasis with coral, drifting jellyfish and ancient marine snails. Using extended reality and motion-tracking cameras, it also reads the body to prompt changes in the environment surrounding you. The exhibition will run at PICA from February 19-March 29, more information at boorda-yeyi.org.au.

Wuthering Heights

No one does a press tour quite like Margot Robbie. Who can forget the vintage pink Versace fit she wore in Sydney, or the showstopping black sequined gown with elbow-length gloves at Barbie’s world premiere? Now doing the rounds for the upcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights, Robbie — alongside fellow Aussie Jacob Elordi — has been serving whimsical look after look. We’re particularly loving this corseted Dilara Findikoglu ensemble she wore in Los Angeles, and can’t wait for Emerald Fennell’s film to hit cinemas on February 12.
