WAFL 2025: Colts premiership medallions for hardworking Claremont trio hailing from the Great Southern

A talented Great Southern trio are enjoying the spoils of premiership success after helping Claremont secure a WAFL colts three-peat. Lake King’s Josh Grahame and Albany pair Kaleb Germain and Elijah Williams are colts premiership players after the Tigers were 55-point winners over South Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Sunday. The Tigers secured their third straight colts flag courtesy of an eight-goal final term. Germain, an Albany Sharks product, was brilliant in the victory, kicking the first goal inside the opening minute. The 18-year-old has played 20 colts games this season but saved his best for last, collecting 20 disposals and kicking two goals. Germain also took three marks and had six inside-50s, playing mainly as a midfielder in the grand final triumph. Lake King junior Grahame also played through the middle to finish with 21 touches, six marks and three inside-50s. Grahame has averaged more than 18 disposals per game in a terrific colts season with the Tigers. Williams, who hails from Royals, has been a regular for the Tigers colts side in the second half of the season. The 17-year-old was used across half-back in the decider, gathering 14 possessions and five marks in a solid display. Railways’ Robert Farmer was omitted from the side for the grand final after a quiet preliminary final with just two disposals. Tarin Rock young gun Lucas Robinson was part of the Bulldogs side in the colts grand final. A Lake Grace-Pingrup junior and Hale School boarder, Robinson was outstanding on the big stage. The highly rated teenager racked up 21 disposals, six marks, seven tackles and kicked a first-quarter goal.
