BDCA 2023: Harvey-Benger up to third on the back of remarkable over by Scott Fowler

Harvey-Benger’s Scott Fowler was the toast of his second grade teammates on Saturday night after producing an over for the ages against Donnybrook at Egan Park. With the visitors eyeing a sizeable target for their hosts to chase, Fowler teed off in the 47th, blasting five successive sixes in a row to take 31 runs of a beleaguered Euan Tuia (0-50 off four overs). Harvey-Benger finished on 6-275, which appeared to be a tough proposition for the hosts to chase. In reply, Donnybrook did their utmost to make the visitors feel pressure, however in pursuit of such a big total, they continued to lose wickets, which stifled their progress.
