Bunbury achievement in leadership role awarded
A Bunbury resident has been recognised for her achievements at the WA Disability Service Awards, where she was commended for her leadership skills.
AtWork Australia Bunbury regional manager Robyn Frost won the Excellence in Leadership Award for her role in supporting people with disability to find confidence and economic independence through employment.
Working with her team of coaches, Ms Frost has supported 276 people to find work and increased the team’s job-seeker list from 150 to 944. Her leadership role has taught Ms Frost what motivates her and keeps her going, and has helped her to learn more about herself.
I do it because I am passionate about changing the lives of others and watching my team grow and succeed.
AtWork Australia disability employment services state manager Claire Kavanagh said they were proud of Ms Frost for receiving the award.
“Robyn’s genuine commitment and encouragement has guided her team’s success in the South West and Peel regions, where they have excelled with placing hundreds of people with disability into sustainable work,” Ms Kavanagh said.
Her dedication to forming strong relationships with clients, employers and community organisations speaks volumes.
The WA Disability Support Awards have been recognising and celebrating achievements of disability support workers since 2009.
