Firefighters returned to the Wellington National Park today as flames from a recent bushfire reignited.

A bushfire advice warning was issued by DFES for an area bounded by Coalfields Highway, Mungalup Road and Wellington Dam.

There has been 125ha burnt already, an area that equates to 62 AFL footy fields, however the bushfire is contained and under control.

The cause of the bushfire is an escaped prescribed burn.
