Crab season opens

The popular blue swimmer crab fishing season reopened on Sunday.

Crab fishing in the Swan and Canning rivers, the Peel-Harvey Estuary and south along coastal waters from Perth to Minninup Beach had been closed since September 1.

The maximum bag limit of 10 crabs per person and a boat limit of 20 still applies.
