An environmental company that employs experts as consultants for business and development projects has expanded to the South West, hosting a launch function in the process.

Western Environmental recently launched the opening of its Bunbury office on Wednesday with a function at the Dolphin Discovery Centre with other members of the South West business community.

The company offers a range of environmental services with an ability to help clients through a project from feasibility to construction to closure, with existing offices in Perth and Melbourne.

Western Environmental managing director James Gibson said the company had been working in the region since it was founded 10 years ago.

“The opening of our Bunbury office fulfils a long-held ambition and comes on the back of being fortunate enough to employ some highly credentialed experts that are long-term residents of Bunbury and the surrounding region,” he said.

“The South West economy is buoyant.

“We are involved in a number of interesting and significant projects and we see those market conditions continuing for a long time to come.

“Engaging and enhacing the communities in which we work is fundamental to our business and we intend to be an active member of the Bunbury business community.”
