Harbour Refuge and Support Services seeking business, organisation and community support with new prospectus

A South West not-for-profit group has launched a new initiative aimed at increasing support for the organisation. Harbour Refuge and Support Services has unveiled its sponsorship and partnership prospectus, which it hopes will foster collaboration with businesses, community groups and members of the public. The initiative hopes to strengthen the organisation’s effort to support those impacted by family and domestic violence throughout the region. Chief executive Ali White said the not-for-profit group was excited to present the prospectus to the community. “It represents a significant step in our mission to create lasting change and support for women and children escaping violence,” she said. “Our goal is to build robust partnerships that will enhance our capacity to provide essential services and foster a safer, more supportive environment for all.” The document outlines the opportunities to help Harbour’s work with financial, service-based and social contributions, which include event sponsorships and capital partnerships. Support from the community will be used to provide services including emergency accommodation, trauma counselling and financial guidance. Harbour has helped more than 1200 people and responded to 1100 call for help in the past year.
