The WA Recovery College, which provides an education approach to recovery and offers a pathway for people to learn about wellbeing in the community, is hosting a Bunbury information session next week.

Speaking to the Herald earlier this year, college principal Naomi Carter said the college offered free courses as a fundamental part of someone’s wellbeing recovery journey and aimed to support them to overcome barriers.

“Our hope is that it will break down stigma and create more opportunities for understanding and connection in the community,” she said.

The recovery college team is hosting a new session on March 25 at Bunbury City Council to introduce the concept and workshop courses needed in the region.
