Large crowds attend community events adding to impressive community spirit in the Shire of Dardanup

A movie night under the stars in Eaton brought a popular series of summer events to a close this February.

The Shire of Dardanup’s Movies by Moonlight was held at the Eaton Foreshore marking the end of the Fuel to Go and Play Summer in Your Park Series.

The free community event drew a crowd of more than 200 people, and featured food trucks and an outdoor screening of the family film Sing 2.

Movies by Moonlight attendee Tegan Donovan said that Fuel to Go and Play Summer in Your Park events have been great to attend for the whole family.

“I’ve been to Movies by Moonlight and Summer Sounds, they are really great events. The series is amazing and very family friendly,” she said.

The Summer in Your Park event series saw over 2000 community members gather across the 23 events held in parks throughout Eaton, Dardanup and Burekup between December 2023 and February 2024.
