Medical consultation development to begin construction in South Bunbury

A new medical consultancy development is coming to South Bunbury, with construction slated to begin this month, and could see new services offered in the city. The development will happen at 122A Spencer Street, behind an already-established GP clinic. According to the leasing agents, the property will span 2230sqm and is anticipated to be completed by mid-2025. Perth Radiological Clinic has already committed to leasing 1000sqm of the available space, with the remaining spaces to be rented out. Commercial Realty sales and leasing agent Mike Jenkins said the property could attract a new range of providers in town. “The sort of people that we’re going to target and attract are physiotherapists, specialists, medical and gynaecologists, cardiology, pain management people,” he said. “There’s lots and lots of specialists that are in Bunbury now who may want bigger or newer premises, and some that (are) perhaps not in Bunbury in the surrounding area. “It’s just going to provide more available space for medical and associated uses. “There’s lots of medical in and around Bunbury in all sorts of places. There are clinics all the way up and down Forrest Avenue and all out through Eaton and the suburbs there’s medical clinics and dentists and that sort of thing. “This just provides an opportunity for others to look at moving into a brand new development, an attractive new development within the medical precinct.” Despite initial delays in planning approval, construction is slated to begin in late September and will be undertaken by Prosser Built.
