The Dardanup Shire Council is calling on the community to have its say on what they want from this year’s budget. As part of its 2024-25 budget planning process, the council is asking both individuals and non-for-profit organisations to submit proposals. Shire president Tyrrell Gardiner said it is an opportunity for residents and groups to contribute to a brighter future for the community through their ideas. “We are enthusiastic about community involvement, and this is a great opportunity to hear from our community on what they see as a priority for the shire,” he said. “Helping develop community ideas into reality is something our council teams are passionate about, and we are always keen to receive new ideas.” Cr Gardiner said the ideas received from residents and groups would play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Dardanup shire community. Submissions must be received by February 16 and can be submitted by mail or records@dardanup.wa.gov.au For more information call 9724 0000.
