Community meetings are back in the shire of Dardanup, giving residents the chance to connect with councillors and shire staff to share their feedback and shape the community’s future.

Feedback from this year’s meetings will inform the development of the shire’s strategic community plan, which will aim to guide the council’s priorities and decisions.

“The feedback we receive will help shape our new strategic community plan, so we want to hear from as many residents as possible about what matters most to them.”

There will be four meetings held during May, each running from 5.30pm-6.30pm.

On May 18, the Eaton meeting will be held at the Eaton Sports Pavilion, while on Tuesday, May 19, the Dardanup meeting will be held at Dardanup Hall.

Ferguson Valley’s meeting at Ferguson Hall will be held on Monday, May 25, while the Burekup meeting will be held at the Burkeup Hall on Tuesday, May 26.

Cr Gardiner said while the meetings were a great starting point, residents’ feedback was welcome all year round.

The meetings are open to all residents, and no registration is required.
