Two people have been rescued from waters off the coast of Bunbury this morning after the boat they were in sunk.

The incident happened off the Cut — the opening to Vittoria Bay.

Marine Rescue Bunbury put the call out for help and the two boaters were collected from the water by a passing tug boat.

Rescue crews then floated the vessel, which had been fully submerged, and towed it into shore.
