A South West photographer has captured Bunbury businesses and healthcare workers in a video series to foster community spirit and let workers know they are not alone.

Photographer Bianca Turri filmed a three part series called Together to encourage the community to continue to support one another.

Ms Turri said the project was about spreading positivity and showing people they were not struggling alone.

“I’m a sole trader and I know lots of other sole traders and it can be a pretty dark period, especially if you’ve worked really hard to build up your business and all of a sudden it just comes crumbling down,” she said.

When there’s a crisis I hate that feeling of helplessness, so I thought to myself I can do something that might give some people hope and feel that we’re all in this together.

Ms Turri said there was a lot of negativity around but she wanted to remind everyone they were all in the same boat.

“We’re a small community down here so we have to work together and rally together if there are things we can do to help other businesses out,” she said.

Ms Turri’s Together series can be viewed on her Facebook page, Bianca Turri Photographer.
