A Central Coast mother will appear in court on Friday, charged with the alleged attempted murder of her two-year-old daughter.

Detectives established a strike force in September last year after being told the little girl had been taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead on two separate occasions in August and September 2020.

The girl was believed to have been poisoned, police will allege.

She was treated and recovered.
