A 65-year-old man will face court on Monday after he allegedly possessed and produced child abuse material online.

On December 2 officers from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team executed a search at the man’s Kardinya home after a tip off via Crime Stoppers.

During the search detectives seized various computers and electronic storage devices belonging to the man.

It is alleged child exploitation material was identified on some of the seized devices.

The 65-year-old man is next due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrate’s Court on Monday charged with producing child exploitation material and possessing child exploitation material.
