Country music star Beccy Cole set to bring show to Harvey Recreational and Cultural Centre in October

A legend of Australia’s country music scene is set to scoot into the South West later this year, with one of her performances being announced. The Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre has announced Beccy Cole will pull on her cowboy boots and head to the venue in October. A winner of 11 Golden Guitars and five Female Artist of the Year titles, the renowned songstress will bring her raw talent to the town for a Friday night spectacular. Her unique blend of music and humour has also brought her to the top of the ARIA Top 10 and Top 40 Mainstream album charts, alongside earning her more than a dozen Australian number one singles. Harvey shire president Michelle Campbell said she expected tickets to sell like hot cakes. “After the success of the 2022 Country Sounds Music Festival, it’s clear the Harvey region has a real appetite for country music,” she said. “Beccy Cole is the genre at its best. She has three gold-certified releases and is one of Australia’s most popular performers.” Ms Campbell said the council was thrilled to welcome her to the town and show her its country hospitality.
