Residents in the Harvey and Waroona shires are being urged to enrol or update their details before local government elections later this year.

Potential voters have until 5pm on Friday to make any changes to their enrolment status before the October 21 vote.

Those who are on the State electoral roll are automatically enrolled, while those who are currently not enrolled can do so at elections.wa.gov.au/enrol.

Voters will need to update their details if they have recently changed address, with both the Shire of Harvey and Shire of Waroona conducting elections by postal vote.
