New faces for Bulls
The Harvey Bulls Football Club has brought on two new coaches ahead of the 2020 season.
On Friday, the club announced the signing of Alan Douglas from South Yunderup, who will take over from former league coach Craig Nicholls.
“I am absolutely humbled, privileged, excited and proud to be the new coach of the Harvey Bulls,” Douglas said.
“Nothing excites me more than to help build a team ranging from juniors all the way through to seniors with many games under their belts.
“I want to be a part in helping to mould this team and culture, as I honestly believe that off-field success brings on-field success.”
Being a strong believer in club culture, Douglas hopes to instil a sense of belonging.
“Country football is the heart of many country towns, it brings people and families together,” he said.
“As important and exciting that winning is, being a part of the community, helping juniors grow and repaying sponsors and supporters is my utmost goal.”
Carlo (Bobby) Celisano will take up the mantle of reserves coach, replacing Richard Wood. Murray Italiano will continue to serve as colts coach and Adrian Kirk will lead the women’s side.
