The streets of Harvey will be filled with more than 40 students taking part in the annual Local Drug Action Group Foot Rally event tomorrow.

The event will see Year 7 students from Harvey Senior High School participate in a range of activities across a variety of service groups in the area.

Group leader Janine Quicke has been running the event for three years.

“The idea behind the event is to showcase what is available for young people in the area,” Ms Quicke said.

“Throughout the day the students will visit nine service groups including the Community Resource Centre, art gallery and police station, each providing them information on the effects of drugs and alcohol.”
