Williams had a big win over Narrogin and Districts Netball Association A-grade newcomers Wagin on Saturday at the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre.
Wagin were pushed up to the A-grade competition for the 2026 season in an effort by the NDNA to even out the association’s top competition.
Williams dominated the round eight game right from the first whistle, setting a pace Wagin could not match.
Bella Logie and Megan Hardie were superb in the circle for Williams in the opening quarter, setting the top side up with a 15-goal advantage by the first change.
Wagin’s Emily Galbraith netted the first goal of the second term, but Williams’ fast movement through the centre third coupled with Logie’s precision at the net extended Williams’ lead to 21 goals by half-time.
Williams stayed in control throughout the second half, and although Wagin worked hard to stay in touch and there were some promising passages of play, Williams’ strength from start to finish was impressive.
The top side converted every opportunity and stayed in control to execute a dominant game, running away with the win 72-29.
Williams’ Bella Logie, Sophie Beasley and Maddy Petchell were named in the game’s best players alongside Wynta Kapene from Wagin.
Cuballing notched a crushing 39-goal win over Olympics Gold in the first A-grade game on Friday night, getting ahead early and maintaining a healthy leading margin throughout the game to finish 71-32.
Telisha Kickett, Regina Kickett, and Jayeisha Ford shone for Williams, while Tanya Hart was outstanding for Olympics Gold in the defeat.
Wickepin also walked off winners, defeating Flames 51-24 after a hard fought game, with Abbey Steere and Isabella Budby named their best players, while Flames’ Payton Callope and Hope Hayes also played a strong game.
