UPDATE: An elderly woman missing for two days in Mandurah has been found safe after a land search was conducted this morning.

Margaret Lowden had been missing for two days

The 83-year-old was last seen on Legend Crescent in Greenfields on Wednesday.

Ms Lowden — who has early onset dementia and needs a walking frame to move around — is described as fair skinned, medium build, with grey hair.

It is not know what she was wearing but she may be carrying a pink bag.

A Mandurah District Police inspector and 30 SES volunteers are taking part in the search, which is focusing on the Serpentine river area and parkland — areas Ms Lowden enjoys visiting.

A command post has been set up at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness building at 2 Old Pinjarra Road in Greenfields.

Anyone who has seen or has information on Ms Lowden whereabouts is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
