A young boy has been rushed to hospital after a horror crash in Perth’s east on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a crash on Belgravia Street in Cloverdale around 4.30pm after a child and a woman were hit by a car.

The collision — near Miles Park where soccer training was underway — shut the road as St John ambulance officers worked to help the two injured.

The child has been rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital under lights and sirens while the woman has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a stable condition.

The boy’s condition is unknown at this stage.
