14 arrested over 'busy' weekend
Police made 14 arrests in Bunbury at the weekend and have expressed disappointment with the level of antisocial behaviour.
Bunbury police Sgt Phil Nation said charges included breach of bail, disorderly behaviour in public and excess 0.08.
“It was a busy weekend and only about half of these arrests were in the CBD,” Sgt Nation said.
“It’s discouraging to see such anti-social behaviour.”
Sgt Nation said police were out in force on Thursday to Saturday nights in Bunbury’s CBD.
“We have a high visibility presence and can give out move-on notices to people not behaving appropriately,” he said.
Police also attended a disturbance on Stirton Court in South Bunbury on Sunday morning.
