Fine Recipe for success
Are you a classic steak and pepper pie lover, or is a sticky pulled pork pie more your thing?
If you are a resident in the South West, or just a visitor, the chances of you having passed by Miami Bakehouse are quite high.
For what began as a small country bakery more than 25 years ago, Miami Bakehouse has quite the large collection of awards, and they keep coming.
This year the Mandurah bakery have bagged themselves 60 major industry baking awards, holding the title of WA’s Most Awarded Bakery.
A crowd favourite at the Myalup store, the gourmet chicken laksa pie won Champion Pie at the 2019 IGA Perth Royal Show .
“Almost every customer that has tried the chicken laksa pie has raved about it,” assistant manager at Miami Bakehouse Myalup, Wayne Ashby said.
“We offer a range of unique flavoured pies with top quality ingredients, and I think that is what makes our pies so award winning.”
However, the great ‘Aussie’ pie is not the only savoury pastry the bakery is renowned for producing.
For the third year in a row Miami Bakehouse has won the coveted gold medal for its sausage rolls at the WA Industry Baking Awards.
The bakery also won gold for their Anzac biscuits, traditional doughnuts, white bread rolls and Vienna loaf.
“We have a fantastic work environment which I think has helped us produce some of the best baked goods around the South West,” Mr Ashby said.
