Football: Dogs bite Dockers

The tables turned against Fremantle in Bunbury at the weekend.

Many of the near-4000 present at Hands Oval on Saturday would have fond memories of watching a fast finishing Dockers outfit run away with a win over Carlton two years ago.

But this time around Fremantle were on the other side - the wrong side - of a final quarter landslide; overrun by a nameless Western Bulldogs line-up to the tune of 30 points.

The Dockers had lead by more than two goals at the final change.

In a game dictated by a strong breeze the young Bulldogs used it best, booting seven-goals-to-one in the second quarter before icing the game with a seven unanswered majors in the last against.
