JORDAN GERRANSBunbury Herald

Donnybrook sounded a warning to the top five with an eight-point triumph over Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault at VC Mitchell Park on Sunday.

The Dons rose to sixth after the win, and were led by a five-goal bag from Daniel Bilson in a see-sawing contest which saw the lead change at every break.

Curtis and Jarrad Guglielmana, and Shane Cristaldi were all outstanding for the Dons.

Donnybrook led by nine points at half-time but HBL opened the third term with four goals.

The Dons hit back, however.

Small forward Marty Walley kicked the first goal of the last term and had a hand in several others.

His influence, coupled with two majors from Jarrad Guglielmana and Bilson’s fifth, ensured the Dons got home.
