GWN7 looking to downsize premises

Local broadcaster GWN7 has made it clear it has no intention of moving out of Bunbury but is looking to move to a smaller premises than its current location in Pickersgill Street.

Prime Television, owner of GWN7, has asked the city council to rezone the land from public to residential (R40) purposes to maximise the site’s development value.

GWN7 general manager Trevor Sutherland said the staff were ‘‘bouncing off the walls’’ at the current offices.

The matter will go before the council at tonight’s full council meeting.
