Another major telephone service provider has made its way to Collie, with Optus switching on its first tower in the South West town on Tuesday.

The new tower sits just off Williams Road behind the Collie Speedway and will provide improved service in Collie and surrounding areas.

More towers are planned for Margaret River and Busselton in the next 12 months. Optus general manager for WA Paul O’Neill said the new tower would provide “faster download speeds and reliable connectivity”.

“We are thrilled to be announcing yet another tower to the WA region and offering local Collie residents the opportunity to choose a great network provider to suit their needs,” he said.
