Scouts plan to Un-Bury Bunbury

Bunbury Herald

Scouts from 2nd Bunbury Sea Scouts met with John Castrilli late last month to discuss their plans for an event to be held in the city later this year.

The team is organising for hundreds of scouts from across WA to head to the city for “Un-Bury Bunbury”.

Cubs and scouts will navigate their way around the city through check points and uncover plenty of information about Bunbury and bonus “hidden treasures” along the way.

Mr Castrilli said he was impressed by the enthusiasm and initiative shown by the scouts.

“As well as being an important event for scouts, this is a fantastic way to showcase our city to young people and their families from across WA,” he said.

“It was very inspiring to meet with the sea scouts and I hope their hard work pays off and they have a very successful event.”
