Aces Sky will once again be looking to continue dominating the competition and extend their undefeated streak even further when they go up against Tornadoes Black this weekend.

Aces Sky and Tornadoes Black will face off during the ninth round of the 2022-23 Bunbury Senior Basketball League women’s competition at the South West Sports Centre on Friday night.

The first-placed Aces Sky have been dominating the competition so far and celebrated the respective 100-game milestones of player Sydney Lewis and coach Vlad Alvara in style with a 100-60 win over Aces Navy last week.

Meanwhile, Tornadoes Black will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 71-52 loss to Tornadoes Red.

Tornadoes Black sit in fourth place on the ladder with a 2-5 record.

The last time the two sides met was in round four, when Tornadoes Black brought the heat to Aces Sky, only for the Aces to prevail 60-54.

Elsewhere, Eaton Eagles will be returning from the weekly bye with a win on their mind when they go up against Aces Navy at Eaton Recreation Centre.

The Eagles sit in fifth place on the ladder with a 1-5 record, while Aces Navy sit in third place with a 2-4 record.

Eaton Eagles had fallen victim to some big losses in recent weeks, while Aces Navy seemed to have hit a slump in form after losing the past three games.

The last time they met, Aces Navy dominated Eaton Eagles 88-47 in round four.
