Bulls Maroon will be keen to rebound from a streak-breaking upset to Aces Sky against competition upstarts Conquerors this weekend.

Bulls Maroon will be going head-to-head with Conquerors during the eighth round of Bunbury Senior Basketball League’s men’s A-grade competition at the South West Sports Centre on Friday night.

Bulls Maroon sit on top of the ladder with a 6-1 record, after last week’s shock 74-69 loss to Aces Sky during round seven.

Despite being involved in a very closely matched contest, Bulls Maroon found themselves falling just short of extending their undefeated streak to a seventh win.

Meanwhile, Conquerors will be looking to continue building momentum following some exciting match-ups in recent weeks.

Conquerors are in fourth place with a 4-3 record, but have found solid form after defeating Aces Sky 92-86 in round six and Tornadoes Black 107-101 last weekend.

Last time they met, Bulls Maroon prevailled over Conquerors by only two points in a thrilling 80-78 contest in round one.

Elsewhere, Aces Sky will be looking to continue building momentum off their upset victory against Bulls Maroon when they take on Tornadoes Red.

Aces Sky sit in sixth place on the ladder with a 3-4 record. Tornadoes Red are in fifth with a 4-3 record following their big 119-75 win over Eaton Eagles last week.

Last time they met, Tornadoes Red held off Aces Sky 87-82.

Eaton Eagles will continue to try to break their losing streak when they host Bulls Gold at the Eaton Recreation Centre.

The Eagles sit in eighth place on the ladder yet to record a victory. Bulls Gold (third place) will be aiming at a winning streak after knocking off Bulls 108-92 last week.

Last time they met, Bulls Gold smashed Eaton Eagles 140-59 in the opening round.

Bulls (seventh place) and Tornadoes Black (second place) will both be looking to bounce back from losses when they face off in the night’s late timeslot.

Last time they met, Tornadoes Black pulled off a convincing 132-70 win against Bulls to open their season.
