Bunbury Fringe 2023 festival program officially launched revealing vibrant and diverse line-up of performers

Bunbury’s Stirling Street Art Centre is set to be transformed into a haven of arts, music, comedy and theatre once again as the Bunbury Fringe Festivals gets ready to return in the new year. Returning for a third year, Bunbury Fringe is set to feature a vibrant line-up boasting more than 30 shows and more than 40 Fringe Buddy events from January 20 to 28 after organisers recently held a launch party at Retravision Bunbury to reveal the full program. The launch party featured performances by local singer-songwriter Codee-Lee Downs, who will be performing during the festival, and the South West Opera Company. The Stirling Street Arts Centre will once again serve as the hub for the festival, housing the Alcoa Big Top, Tronox Theatre and the Fringe Garden. Festival goers can expect a diverse line-up of international, national and local acts, with highlights including the all-female acrobatic stylings of YUCK Circus, Vikki Thorn, First Nations hip hop MC and soul vocalist MissGenius, Garry Starr performing his award-winning comedy theatre Greece Lightning, Cultural Renegades, Adam Hall & the Cuban Young Guns and Perth progressive metal band Voyager. Bunbury Fringe artistic director Jo O’Dea said the 2023 program was set to showcase some of its best shows yet. “We’ve been working really heard to bring the South West a festival that really caters for everyone,” she said.
