Bunbury Fringe: ‘Eaters’ to present appetite for change in a pub quiz with a twist

Bunbury Fringe audiences are set to experience a pub quiz with a twist in a bid to navigate the future of food and how the land food comes from is cared for. Presented by the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre and PVI Collective, ‘Eaters’ is a Bunbury Fringe Buddies performance that seeks to find common ground for the future of food, under the guise of a rowdy pub quiz on January 27 and 28. Described as an innovative and participatory performance, ‘Eaters’ allows audiences to be part of the fun and test their knowledge on all things food sustainability through an interactive quiz. Blending activism with performance and presenting it under the guise of a quiz, ‘Eaters’ is set to create an appetite for change with participants asked to put their relationship with food and farming firmly under the microscope. Drawing input from farmers working on the front lines, first nations experts, authors, physicists, conservationists, eco-activists and the world of agronomy — the people of Noongar Boodja will be asked to play along, all the while questioning whether a change in their diet can ensure the future of the planet. With Happy Hour drinks on arrival and a DJ, ‘Eaters’ is set to be the night out for curious culinary enthusiasts and the eco conscious.
