The incident, on Goodwood Road near the intersection of Upper Capel Road in Paynedale, involved a single car and while the vehicle had a number of occupants on board, but police this afternoon confirmed there had been no deaths.

A police spokesperson said a number of the occupants had sustained broken bones.

In a statement this afternoon, Department of Fire and Emergency Services said an RAC Rescue Helicopter was sent to the rollover and volunteer fire and rescue service firefighters were on their way to the scene.

It comes almost exactly 24 hours after a 47-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were killed in a head-on collision on South Western Highway near Knights Road in Argyle.

One of the passengers from yesterday’s crash, another 23-year-old woman, was taken to to Royal Perth Hospital for serious but non life-threatening injuries.
