Police investigating shocking vision of man dropping pants, climbing counter of packed Bunbury kebab shop

Shocking video has emerged of a man dropping his pants and attempting to mount the counter at a Bunbury kebab store, just weeks after it was ransacked by violent teenagers. The sordid footage, which was posted to social media application Snapchat on Sunday night, shows the man removing his pants and trying to climb the front counter at Orfa Kebabs in the city’s main strip, before being pushed back by a staff member. He then picks up a chair and briefly holds it above his head, before setting it down and picking his pants up off the floor and holding it in the air, while the restaurant was full of diners. Police have confirmed they will be looking into the latest incident, after issuing the man with a move-on notice. It is the second incident at the store, popular among late-night revelers, this year, after a teenager was charged over a violent attack in January, where a group of balaclava-clad youngsters punched and attempted to choke staff. Video of that incident, which involved at least eight juveniles, also showed staff members pleading with the group to leave while other teenagers yelled encouragement. But police say they are not concerned the spot is becoming a hotspot for bad behavior. “I have no specific concerns about this area becoming a hotspot for antisocial behaviour,” Bunbury Police Station officer-in-charge Jeramy Davies told the South Western Times. “This premises is one of the only food vendors open late at night in the CBD, so by virtue of that fact it does and will continue to attract people who are potentially under the influence of alcohol. “For that reason we do patrol the area regularly especially in the Friday to Sunday period when the licensed premises are busier.” Sen. Sgt Davies said people should be able to enjoy a night out in the CBD while feeling safe and comfortable. “Of course this behaviour is disappointing, and will be investigated,” he sad. “People should be able to enjoy our entertainment precinct, either working or as patrons, without being subjected to this sort of behaviour. “If any member of the community doesn’t feel safe, or sees concerning behaviour, please contact us about it.” Orfa Kebabs has been contacted for comment.
