Wheels in motion for Dalyellup skate park
Dalyellup residents will have a 795sqm plaza style skate park sooner than expected thanks to a $522,200 grant.
Last Wednesday, the Shire of Capel council was presented with a Lotterywest grant from Collie-Preston MLA Mick Murray and Bunbury MLA Don Punch.
The grant will help to create a ‘civic square’ with a skate park set to be developed alongside the future Dalyellup Youth Centre.
While still in the early stages of planning, the park is expected to cost a more than $1.5 million and is due for completion in 2020.
