Two crashes on Perth’s major highway network are causing traffic headaches for motorists on Sunday afternoon, with emergency crews responding to separate incidents near Perth Airport and Wattle Grove.

The latest crash is on Tonkin Highway southbound at Horrie Miller Drive, near Perth Airport, where the right lane has been closed.

Main Roads WA said DFES Incident Response crews and police were at the scene, with traffic heavy on approach.

The crash is particularly likely to affect motorists travelling through the busy airport precinct, with drivers urged to slow down and use caution.

Meanwhile, another crash is causing delays on Roe Highway eastbound at Tonkin Highway in Wattle Grove.

The left merge lane has been blocked and towing services are at the scene, with traffic also busy approaching the crash site.

Motorists travelling through either area have been warned to expect delays and drive with caution.
