Perth traffic: Dump truck hits Kwinana Freeway overpass at Lakes Road in Stake Hill

A truck has ploughed into a freeway overpass in a late-night crash in Perth’s south.

Emergency services were called to a Kwinana Freeway overpass at Lakes Road in Stake Hill when a dump truck’s hydraulic ram arm, which was fully extended, smashed into the overpass about 10.45pm on Thursday.

No one was injured.

Shocking photographs of the crash show the tipper tray completely torn off the vehicle, with the truck veering off into a grassy median strip.

Main Roads WA confirmed on Friday morning that debris from the crash had been cleared.
