Como crash: Woman rushed to Royal Perth Hospital after crashing e-scooter on Labouchere Road

An e-scooter rider has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after losing control and crashing in Como.

The incident was reported to police on Labouchere Road, near Alston Avenue, about 4.20am on Friday.

A police spokesman said the rider, a woman aged in her 30s, lost control of the e-scooter before falling.

“Emergency services attended the scene and located a woman aged in her 30’s with serious, life-threatening injuries,” he said.

“She was conveyed under priority to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.”

A Royal Perth Hospital spokesman said the rider remained in a critical condition at 8.30am.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
