The mercury will drop to just 3C in the city on Monday evening into Tuesday morning, and will rise to only 16C with partly cloudy conditions.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will all bring a high of 17C after overnight lows of just 5C for three days straight.
Saturday will see a minor temperature rise to 18C, after an overnight low of 6C.
Rain will set in on Sunday, with up to 3mm expected and an 18C maximum, and Monday will bring up to 7mm of rain with a maximum of 9C.
Perth’s freezing temperatures come after a severe thunderstorm warning was cancelled for WA’s south coast on Monday morning.
Despite the cancellation, rainfall was still heavy — 24mm of rain was recorded at Jerdacuttup between Bremer Bay and Esperance in the hour before 6am.
