Fevola family heartbroken after death of Alex’s father Keith: ‘Can’t believe he’s gone’

The Fevola family has been devastated by the recent death of Alex’s father, Keith.

Alex Fevola, the high-profile partner of AFL champion Brendan and founder of beauty brand Runway Room, paid an emotional tribute to her father after revealing he died on Friday ahead of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

“A few days ago I lost my Dad,” she said yesterday on social media.

“It has been so difficult to come to terms with. My Dad seemed indestructible, young at heart and full of life. We can’t believe he’s gone 😢

“RIP Dad, you will be missed for ever, always in my heart 💔.”

Brendan Fevola, the former Carlton superstar who is now a hit on radio, was also emotional.

“Rest easy, Keith,” Brendan said.

“We are going to miss your humour and quick wit. I’m gonna miss having a cold one with you mate.

“Most of all the girls will miss the love their granddad gave them and Alex the love, friendship and trust you both had with each other till the very end, the long chats that ended in laughter.

“Love ya, mate.”

Alex and Brendan divorced in 2014 but they then got back together two years later and are now engaged.

They have four children, Mia, Leni, Lulu and Tobi, with oldest Mia Brendan’s stepdaughter.

They too are all reportedly devastated by the loss of their grandfather.

“On Friday, heaven gained an angel. Rest in peace granddad, love you forever,” Mia said.

“Never failed to make us laugh. I’ll miss you coming over with home cooked meals, I’ll miss driving past you on the roads, I’ll miss popping in on the way home, I’ll miss hearing ‘hi love’ ... I miss you already.”

Leni said: “Forever missing you grandad, I love you.”

Lulu also some touching words: “You’re irreplaceable, I love you so much grandad.”
