Dyson Daniels has put in a stellar all-round effort to help Atlanta notch a 30-point win over Washington in the NBA.

The Australian posted 13 points to go with 11 assists, four rebounds and a tied season-high five steals as the Hawks beat the Wizards 126-96 on Thursday night.

It was also a big night for Atlanta newcomers CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert, who combined for 58 points against their former team.

It was the second of a two-game home series for the Hawks against the team they traded Trae Young to in January.

Kispert scored 22 of his career-high 33 points in the first half, while McCollum had 25 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Daniels also had a block in his 33-and-a-half minutes on court, as did Hawks teammate and fellow Australian Jock Landale, who also chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Josh Giddey tallied 15 points, six rebounds and nine assists in the Bulls' 121-112 loss to Portland, for whom Matisse Thybulle registered five points and three boards.

It was a 14th loss in 15 games for Chicago (24-36) and leaves them 12th in the East, while the Trail Blazers (29-31) remain ninth in the Western Conference.

In New York, Julian Champagnie scored 26 points to lead San Antonio to their 11th straight victory following a 126-110 win over Brooklyn.

San Antonio (43-16), second in the West, are on their longest winning streak since claiming 13 straight in the 2015-16 season.

Michael Porter Jr. had 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Nets, who have lost six in a row.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Philadelphia, Houston and Minnesota, who all currently occupy playoff spots.
