Australian superstar Josh Giddey has scored a season-high 25 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied for a 119-112 NBA win over the Pelicans.

The young Boomer added nine rebounds and four assists as the Thunder, second in the Western Conference with a 50-21 season record, bounced back from their loss to Milwaukee.

Giddey's previous best haul this season was 19 in the defeat against the Bucks.

"We don't flinch," the Australian said after the match.

The Heat also were without Tyler Herro (foot) for a 16th consecutive game, Kevin Love (heel) for a 14th consecutive game, and Duncan Robinson (back) for a fourth game in a row.
