VideoWest Coast forward Jack Darling nutmegs an Adelaide defender to kick a goal in the second quarter of their clash against the Crows at Optus Stadium.

Adelaide were taking it up to West Coast before a Jack Darling explosion, with the forward booting an incredible five goals in the second quarter - including a head-scratching nutmeg.

The Crows edged out to a seven-point lead early in the second quarter, but Darling quickly turned the game on its ear with a stunning burst.

The forward took three contested grabs in the space of a few minutes to give West Coast the ascendancy, before his fourth provided a moment of levity.

Darling marked the pass from Jake Waterman, but elected to play on and dribbled the ball through Brodie Smith’s legs.

Darling then made it a handful of goals for the term late, dropping one of his easiest marking attempts before recovering and wheeling around onto his right boot to kick truly from half-forward.

It took West Coast from their seven-point deficit to a commanding 29-point lead at the main break.

The burst boosted Darling to 26 goals for the year, seven behind Harry McKay in the Coleman race with a half up his sleeve.
